As we said our goodbyes to one another and to the mountain, the group leader offered a message that stayed with me: “You are so full of light. Keep your light, and share it.” I carry those words with intention as I return to everyday life, committed to embodying and expressing that light in a grounded and meaningful way.
That evening revealed a full super moon—often associated with heightened intuition and the surfacing of emotions that may otherwise remain unacknowledged. It felt like an appropriate moment for reflection and release, an opportunity to let go of what no longer serves and to make space for greater clarity and alignment. In this way, the experience became a reminder of the importance of consciously releasing old patterns in order to move forward with greater presence and integrity.
The day concluded with a birthday celebration where we dressed in butterfly costumes. What began as a lighthearted idea for Halloween transformed into a deeper symbolic resonance in that moment—reflecting themes of transformation, emergence, and renewal that had been present throughout the journey.
Later that night, it began to snow, marking the final element we experienced on the trip. Across the days together, we moved through a full spectrum of nature’s expressions, each one contributing to a sense of connection not only with the land, but also with one another. In that shared experience, a quiet bond formed—between people, and with the natural world that held us throughout the journey.
